Born and raised on the loblolly pine outskirts of Houston, Texas, Laura spent a great deal of her youth consumed with drawing, painting, and music. At 16, she and her family moved to rural Southern Illinois, where her love for creating and imagining manifested further into a love for photography.
After a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, and hundreds of contact sheets, Laura holds a B.A. in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, with a minor in Journalism. After a brief stint living in Los Angeles and interning for Jill Greenberg, Laura moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she currently works and resides.
