Photograph maker with a music habit. People person, animal lover. Trail trekker and outdoors enthusiast. Laura has lived and worked in Nashville, TN since 2012, and has been a professional photographer for 16 years. Originally coming to music city with a passion to photograph album covers, Laura has been fortunate to do that and more. Her often portrait-centric and photo-reportage style work has been the subject of many record covers, but has also on numerous occasions found comissioned homes in the pages of The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and other fine editorial publications, as well as supplied critical story-telling images for her more commercial clients such as Ford, Cracker Barrel, Americana Music Association, and others.

More About Laura

Laura’s Cinestill Film Interview, 2019

Outside of her love of photography, Laura is also a passionate and accomplished outdoorist, chronic walker, and solo long distance hiker. An advocate for public lands, communing with nature for physical and mental wellness, and responsible recreation in the outdoors, she often brings a camera along to document the adventures. Her hope is that by using her skills as a photographer while out on these long, long walks, she can inspire her audience to not only protect and advocate for our public and private lands, but to contemplate our own impact on the planet and to enact small but meaningful changes for a better tomorrow.
